Animania Holiday Channel
If you have DSTV and you haven’t heard of this channel, it’s time to switch over and give it a peek! Mama’s, I know the holidays can be tiring. Constantly trying to entertain the kids while having to clean the house or trying to cook can be frustrating – especially when they are wound up (and you haven’t heard the voices in your head for a while because of their noise.)
But, screen time?
And yes, I know, screen time is bad but everything in moderation – right? Animania is a pop-up channel that takes over channel 105 through the holidays. It showcases all kinds of movies like 101 Dalmations, Cinderella, Cars, Tarzan, Peter Pan – all those wonderful classics we all love!
Best part?
With DSTV now app, you can watch it on your Ipad/ laptop or your phone whether you are on holiday, camping with the family or visiting your kids’ grandparents. Make road trips a little calmer and keep your sanity a little longer. The animations are on all day long and the movie starts at 6pm when it’s time to wind down and get ready for bed.
So..
With the kids on holiday, we need a little down time for ourselves so we can just breath or drink that cup of coffee while it’s still hot. If you allow your kids some screen time, no judgement here! I get you. I have three kids and we at least do screen time once a day, usually before dinner and bath time. And seems Cape Town wants us to cuddle up with a Christmas bed in front of the TV with this weather – and I don’t mind it one bit.
Tonight, we will be watching Tinkerbell and the legend of the Never beast. Who will be joining me? A Christmas bed in the lounge sounds like a pretty awesome idea to me right now.
